Joe Hoare (The Laughing Yogi) Interview
We also discuss his life story which led to him having his awakening to spirit and the journey he has been on since that time.
He now works as an intuitive healing coach and runs the worlds longest running Laughter Club outside of India, in Bristol every month.
Joe believes that laughter boosts happiness and the more we remember to laugh and smile the more easily we will be able to do it and thus feel good more often. I’m all for that. He gives us a couple of examples of techniques that can be used to achieve this as well as describing how to discover your ‘natural voice’.
I wholeheartedly agree with his philosophy that ‘You have to let go of the life you thought you were going to lead and let life live through you’. It is easier said than done but once you can begin to make the change, it get’s easier with time….or so I believe. I’m still working on that one myself. 🙂
He says that once we liberate ourselves from stress and tension and are able to exist in a state of joy, we subconsciously give permission for others to do the same. Not that they need our permission but rather it creates a space for them to match you.
In 2006 he set up the UK’s Laughter Facilitation Training programme and organised the UK’s 1st National Sponsored ‘Laugh-a-thon’ for the British Heart Foundation.
He was a director of the Pierian Centre and is a longtime full healer member of the NFSH.
