I managed to get last minute tickets to see Vieux Farka Toure at the Garage in Glasgow and by God, I’m glad I did as he was amazingly good.

I had seen Yes perform before but without Rick Wakeman and when I saw he was touring I knew it would be a fabulous gig, which indeed, it was.

We had already seen Van Morrison four times in the last year but couldn’t resist going to Belfast to see his 80th birthday gig.

Nile Rodgers – Glasgow Barrowland
It was great to get tickets to see Nile Rodgers at The Barrowland and he and his band were absolutely sensational.
Teenage Fanclub – Kelvin Bandstand
I had never been to Kelvingrove Bandstand before and Teenage Fanclub playing there was enough for me to check it out.
