We first saw Bad Nerves supporting The Darkness at Glasgow Barrowland and was immediately blown away by them so I got tickets to see Hives, there a short while later, only to see Bad Nerves support them. Then we went to KTWWH to see their first headline tour. As soon as the gig was announced for The Art School, I jumped on it as to me they are the modern day Ramones and that can’t be a bad thing.
The first support act were pretty cool and they were called Spyres.
Balancing Act were next up and although at first I thought the singer was eat himself if he was chocolate, by the end he won me over, especially as he struggled for air cause he was giving up cigarettes.
Then Bad Nerves came on and kicked ass for an hour or so…as they do. There was a young lady who I had got chatting to before the gig who said after it, “That was amazing”. I had to concur. Rock’n’roll lives. Check it out for yourself below.
