Cheltenham
Luckily Emma found us a good deal at a hotel in Cheltenham which meant we could start the drive the day before and stay overnight in relative luxury compared to what was to come.
Silbury Hill
The next morning we set off with a few stops in mind, the first one being the largest man made hill in the UK and I think second largest in Europe. Of course I had to ignore the no access sign and go for a climb.
Avebury
A short drive later and we were at Avebury where they have quite a large standing stone area.
Stonehenge
Emma done her research well and discovered a way into Stonehenge which avoided the 20 quid fee to get about 20 metres closer than we were, so I was quite pleased with her for that although she did get her facts wrong when it came to how much they made from visitors there. She said seven billion and it turned out to be seven million.

Mobiles
Here are the mobiles we took on the trip.
Tidworth
On the way home we stopped off at my town of birth, which I never thought I would visit and was quite surreal to be there as I had only ever seen the name of the town on my birth certificate and passport.
