Blood on the Tracks by Bob Dylan is obviously great album and to get to hear songs from it played by members of Teenage Fanclub and Belle and Sebastian was a no-brainer. It was organised by a spoken word group in Glasgow called Thi Wurd.
I am a big Dire Straits fan and had heard great reviews of this cover band called bROTHERS iN bAND and so got tickets to see them with Emma at the Liquid Room in Edinburgh.
The last time I saw James was at The Usher Hall with my Sister and the singer, Tim Booth, looked at me, shrugged his shoulders and fell down on top of me to crowd surf.
I saw Throwing Muses about 30 years ago in Glasgow before Kristen Hersh released her first solo record and having heard their new album online I bought tickets to see them again, although the line up isn’t the same one as back then, as she now has her son on Bass guitar for a start.

I took my son to see Mogwai a couple of years ago and Emma was sad not to go, so I did the honourable thing and bought tickets for their current tour so she could get the Mogwai experience in full effect.
