We repress our Buddha nature
And deny our right to freedom
We hold on to what’s familiar
Behave like orphaned children
We talk when we’re allowed to
Avoiding conversation
We hear the voice inside us
But live in separation
We repel responsibility
It’s a virtue of our ignorance
We control the mind to wander
Is it trained to be a hindrance?
We let go of our ambitions
Dream asleep and never waken
We confuse a solid space
With a table that’s been taken
We stabilise our future
By suffering in the present
We monopolise mutation
Freaks will always pay the rent
We choose to live in sorrow
While our ecstasy prevails
We are cattle in the market
But this batch will never fail
Cheers!
