I have been a fan of The Waterboys ever since ‘This Is The Sea’ came out many years ago and had Mike Scott play a solo gig at The Barrowland but never seen him play there under The Waterboys name which he reinstated as I think it was a more recognisable brand.
It also means that he has to play more of the classic Waterboys tunes that he may have under his own name which in my book is no bad thing. It was weird having my son with me in that venue as so many memories of the many gigs I have attended there came flooding back to me.
The support band were called Psyche and here is some of their set.

You can’t fail to love that violin playing and Mike Scotts songs are awesome so hence a fab night was had by all.
