Rory McAlpine was the host for another Sunday nights comedy at Footlights Bar in Edinburgh.
Here he is introducing and opening the show.
Before the break he told the men to check out what was for sale in the toilet, so the Irish guy with the army hat went and bought a Sticky Tit and gave it to Rory at the start of the second section. Here is his reaction.
This guy was the headline act and very good he was too. When I find out his name I will write it here.
Hanging out at the bar with Iain Campbell, the Headliner, Ross Hepburn and of course Rory with his great Tuxedo T-Shirt.
I had a chat with the Irish girl who’s Tit Nob felt during the show. Luckily for Nob her fiance didn’t mind…..well he didn’t say anything anyway.
I was invited to join the Irish posse at their table for a couple of Guinness and a singalong to the musical act. Why not indeed? A good laugh was had by all.
The father was born in Scotland but after living in Ireland for most of his life sounded very Irish. In fact he tried to do a Scottish accent and it was the worst ever. He was pretty good at doing a trick with the wig though that made it look like a small furry animal.
I am doing my Charlie in the Chocolate Factory impersonation with the two Irish brothers. Guid crack.
She wondered if this pose was too rude to do in front of the parents but went for it anyway. Gotta love the Irish.
My mother is from Ireland so when people here I am half Irish, half Scottish their usual response is “Ah, so that explains a lot.”
Thanks to Rory, all the comedians who performed and the Footlights Bar management for another great night. Until next time….

Cheers!
