Bri asked me to do a spot at Celidh Scotland at Glasgow Green and was happy to get the guitar out for an outside gig. He asked me at 3.30am on the day of the gig if I had a mic stand. I didn’t so I made do with a ladder.
The first act of the day was Doctur Normul who I really enjoyed, especially good to hear a cover version of Black Boys on Mopeds.
Hawaii Fivo came on after me and he refers to me in his set as he too has a cover version of Folsom Prison Blues, which was certainly played with much more panache than my version.
This is the same set as above from myself but without the karaoke lyrics.
Something happened at the start of the next performers gig but the less said about that the better.
