I got a free ticket from my friend Mike McGregor to go and see Hugh Cornwell from The Stranglers in Edinburgh. Another friend, Noel, was visiting his brother in Edinburgh so I met up with him after the gig. Here it is in it’s entirety.

Great lil gig…Hugh’s album stuff reminded me of a raw velvet underground sound… Stranglers stuff? well what can ya say?…epic…i see where the pixies got their song structures from ‘always the sun’ etc…’goodbye toulouse’ was great with that growling bass…thanks for filming and for the beer after Billy 😉
