I had already bought tickets to see The National for my sons birthday but as it was his actual birthday I took him to see The Ultimate Rock Experience as I got cheap seats which still had a pretty decent view. He said he enjoyed it but the woman singer was too annoying. It was a fun night which took a bit of a mad twist when I got talking to a guy from Glasgow afterwards who was on Acid. My son thought he was an annoying drunk but when I told he he’d had a tab, that explained it.
The boy then took me for a meal at a Turkish restaurant afterwards. Wonders will never cease.
