Spiritualized is another band I got into when they released their first album Lazer Guided Melodies in 1992. Mind you, it hasn’t exactly been the same band as their have been numerous line-up changes along the way, with Jason Pierce being the only consistent member.
I saw them quite a few times back in the day, including their gig at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut when the toured their first album. The reason for this tour was to play their Pure Phase album in its entirety, to celebrate it’s 30th anniversary. God that makes me feel old. It was at a seated venue so not ideal for filming. Emma managed to get a few short clips to give you a flavour.
