I originally bought tickets to see The Waterboys at the Usher Hall in the restricted view section as it was cheaper. However, after going to that section for Primal Scream I decided to upgrade my tickets by buying tickets to see them at The Barrowland and selling the restricted view ones for an added difference of twenty quid.
As a member of a Waterboys fanpage on facebook I noticed a few hours before they were playing the Royal Concert Hall that a lady was giving away two free tickets as she couldn’t make it. This was a few days before the first of their two Barrowland dates for which we had tickets for the second one. Well, not one to miss out on a freebie offer like that I messaged her and left comments and thankfully managed to get them transferred just as I finished work that day. Fifteen minutes later we were on the way to Glasgow.
It wasn’t easy to video as the staff were telling people it wasn’t allowed but we did manage to get a few clips.
I took a few clips from the fanpage the next day and edited them together.
