Emma discovered Ist Ist on Spotify (whatever that is), and so she treated me to their gig at Oran Mor in Glasgow. The support act, Yaang, were a little bit unusual, their frontman was anyway.
Ist Ist have a group of fans that follow them pretty much everywhere. We spoke to a guy in the queue who follows them around Europe. They took up all the spaces down the front as they got their even earlier than us to get their spot. We managed to squeeze in at the end though, right beside the speaker.
I didn’t get a setlist as someone grabbed it off the stage before they had finished their set but I did get a drumstick and a plectrum, so that worked out ok.
