I wasn’t a fan of Suede when they were around the first time but after they reformed I began to appreciate them more. I got their album, ‘Head’ recently and so when a single ticket came up on Twickets I took myself along to the Usher Hall for a night of Suedeworld, even though the brakes on my car were shuddering.

I am glad I did as I thought they were excellent and Brett done a great job at trying to get the crowd going, I say trying, because I think he was disappointed in the energy coming back at him. People these days at gigs are not the same as the old days. Their spirit has died due to overexposure of media and events like this don’t feel as special as they did in days gone by.

Anyway, here is the gig in full.
