I saw Dodgy at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut either the 1st or 2nd time they played there just after their first album was release. There was only three months between the gigs so I can’t be sure which one it was.

I am always on the look out for good bands who are playing KTWWH as it is an excellent venue….very intimate and we always get to gigs early if we can to get a spot down the front.

The first band were a young bunch called Swindled who were certainly well dressed for the occasion.

Next up was Liam Fender. He brought a certain attitude which was pretty cool and had good merch promo banter. Understated would be the world.
Dodgy have released a new album recently which I played on youtube and the songs from it they played live were great. Their big hit Good Enough was actually one of the weaker songs from their set and they finished it off with a great version of Grassman.

Gigs these days are getting quite expensive so all in all not a bad night for thirty odd quid. Check out Dodgy on their website.
