The young team decided to pop along to the quiz this week so it was a bit busier than usual.
I would like to think of myself as part of the young team but in reality I am the wrong side of 40 but like these ladies it doesn’t stop us having fun.
Here was this weeks winning quiz team.
It really makes a big difference when the place is packed although I can’t do as much of my microphone patter as it is too noisy.
Arzu and Suzie kicked off the Karaoke with Abba’s ‘I Have a Dream’.
Tim woos the ladies with a bit of classic soul.
Then Brian gave us an awesome rendition of Bariş Manço’s ‘Domates, Biber, Patlican‘ which means – Tomatoes, Pepper, Aubergine. It went down a storm!
He also done a great version of The Human League’s ‘Don’t you want me Baby’.
Tim’s French flatmate was loving my Leopardskin Cowboy Hat.
I got some tips on anger management from the DJ who takes over from me after the Karaoke is finished. The key is to just ignore what people scream at you for requests. If they ask nicely, that’s a different matter. 🙂
