I would like to know if humans really evolved from apes
Archaeologists and learned people say we did but how do
they know?
How do they explain this missing link theory?
I think they just like to spout off in order to collect dough

I find it hard to swallow that my ancestors used to swing from
trees
But then again, I used to do it all the time when I was a boy
I still like to eat bananas and pick fleas from my partner’s
back
Maybe our thumbs and large brains are just an elaborate
decoy

In fact, I am sure some primitive Neanderthals still live in
Armadale
You can tell them from their football tops, Irn Bru and Daily
Record’s
Mind you the rest of us aren’t that much further on in the
evolution scale
As we still all bow down to the decrepit philistines in the
House of Lords

With the robots now doing the work and people’s general
lack of brains
It will not be long before most of us forget how to use basic
tools
We will start to grow hair on our backs and do the monkey
gibbon
Then even the apes will consider us a bunch of hopeless fools

Cheers!
