I like to try on alternative ideas and concepts
To see how the world looks through different eyes
I explored the literal interpretation of Christianity
To see if I could taste what it is like when one dies
After all, isn’t that what religions are founded upon?
Isn’t that why they are taken so goddamn seriously?
If we had never experienced god or the death state
We wouldn’t look at the world so mysteriously
I found that accepting Jesus as the lord didn’t do that
Maybe I didn’t believe hard enough I don’t know
It’s hard to get your head around that a man’s death
Could forgive all your sins even if you’re on death row
That is not to say I didn’t learn anything from trying
I found that I didn’t feel as comfortable watching porn
I just felt that Jesus probably wouldn’t want that
He’d probably rather I shagged the wife when I get the horn
And some of the Christian preachers do a great job
Of exposing theVatican for the evil institution that it is
They are certainly not about preaching love and sharing
They wouldn’t give you a truthful answer in a pop quiz
Because they are hiding a secret that everyone should know
That their religion is based on the worship of a mushroom
It is the old story about the esoteric knowledge verses
exoteric
Direct experience of god is the last thing they want you to
consume
Just take a look at the garb that the pope himself has donned
In his red and white dress, he looks like a Siberian shaman
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the symbolic
garb
That’s why they had the pharmaceutic inquisition to blind the
layman
I still need to research further though before I close the door
As Christian scholars say prophecy in the Bible is coming true
I don’t want to be too hasty and say that Jesus is just a myth
But I would get into god more if the papacy told us what they
knew
They will never do that as they enjoy being the middleman
The confessing of our sins is where they get their power
Maybe we should just demand our god given right
Burst open theVatican doors and take down that bloody
shower
Then we will have access to books that are our heritage
We could clear up the religious discrepancies once and for all
Because they want to be the leaders of the one world religion
I just want to go back to the way we were before the fall
