Here is the poster outside the venue. I was to find out later that they were having some issues to do with the copyright on their name.
If only the Military Industrial Complex felt the same way about Ammo as this artist.
Aynur, her friend Tuana and her friend were waiting for me in the garden area. Thankfully there was a fire to help keep them warm.
As the gig started it was just myself with my 3 lady friends in the audience. It’s a hard life.
The band kicked into gear and right away I knew we were in for a good night.
I brought my video camera along and captured most of their set from my prime position of front and centre.
My friend Eto was the barman there and he was the one who had posted the facebook message about it and so of course I had to thank him as I had a great night.
As we were leaving I saw an empty stage and so thought I’d take a couple of photos of me performing to an empty space. This started a bit of a trend and I do it whenever I can these days. I should probably get back on a real stage sometime, with actual people in the audience.
It was a bit cold on the walk home but thankfully there was a fire at a bus stop which enabled us to heat our hands up.
I got the contact details of Shamans Band and they told me they were from Alanya but would be back in town in the not too distant future. I will go and see them again for sure, given the opportunity. You should too.
The Photos
Cheers!
