My friend Akin runs AE Music School and so once I figured out how the hell to find it I took my son along to try and get him interested in actually playing the Guitars I have purchased for him. I, of course, had to do the obligatory Devil’s hand signal with their promotional material.

Akin and his buddy give me and my son a free gig as they get limbered up for the Jam Session.

First of all the young team are up and heck, they are pretty good.

Then Akin stepped in to add a bit of Oomph to the proceedings.

It is a bit annoying watching the teens piss all over my guitar playing…but then again they probably practice now and again.

My son was on Video Cam duty for the videos below so you can blame him for any dodgy camerawork.

I was thrown into the deep end to perform Knockin’ On Heavens Door both on Guitar and Vocals. Thankfully I didn’t burst anyone’s eardrums too badly.

I was put on vocals for Sweet Home Alabama. No rehearsal by the way, straight in there. Fortunately there wasn’t a paying audience or they would have probably have wanted a refund.

So Akin seems to be creating a really good school where lots of young people are not only learning the guitar but having fun playing with each other every week as they do. Great to see and I wish him every success with it.
