I had seen Shaman’s Band perform before in Antlaya and enjoyed there set enough to want to go back and see them again, this time at a new venue in town called Ooljee Bar. I have no idea what the name means or where it came from but I do like this kind of Underground Train station vibe for the Name inside the Bar.

The place wasn’t that busy so I took my spot in the same place I did in the last bar I saw them….front and centre.

I spent a lot of the night looking at the Pedals board and wishing a) I had one b) I knew how to use it and most crucially c) I could play the guitar.

Here I am with the guitar player who has managed to do all three.

Still, Charlie Chaplin never played guitar and he done alright.

The music was Rocking so I felt like it was time for a Tequila to kick the party into overdrive.

Down the hatch!

Next thing you know I am on the Stage with the band….not that they had any say in that matter.

Here are the songs I recorded. Some of them are the same song twice as I put one camera on the Guitar player and maybe my cheap phone on the band. I was going to do a mixed edit later but never got around to that….so take your pick as to which one you prefer to watch.

I was getting to know the Band a bit more and they were certainly becoming familiar with my antics. Here I am with the Drummer.

As Leo, the ‘Bad Guy’ in Grease said when Kinickie asked him what the Rules were – “The Rules are there ain’t no Rules!”

I think after my Dancing on Stage with the band they made me an Honorary member for the night.

In Return I let the band be Scottish for a minute as they each tried on my Jimmy Hat.

Thus concluded a fine evening at Ooljee Bar.
