I bought tickets to see Van the Man in Belfast before he announced that he would be playing two dates in Scotland not long thereafter, but I had to get tickets to see him just up the road too.

Emma and I were guests of The Blockheads for the third time as we went along to see them again in Edinburgh. They never disappoint.

I took Emma along to the Theatre Royal in Glasgow to see Spiritualized perform their Pure Phase album to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Melin Melyn – The Poetry Club – Glasgow
It didn’t take me long to figure out that I am a fan of Melin Melyn, one half of a youtube video was enough for that and I was onto ticketmaster to buy tickets for their tour straight away.
