Billy – have you any more information about ‘Cyber Polygon’?
Thanks, again, Billy……for yet another great interview. David Weiss is a very good communicator. I have been reading a few books about the Tudors and have so far come across three Tudor individuals described as ‘wizards’:
(l) Henry Percy, the Ninth Earl of Northumberland;
(2) John Dee (aka ‘007’?); and
(3) Francis Drake…….know to the Spaniards as ‘El Draco’ – ‘The Dragon’……..presumably after the ‘Singeing of the King of Spain’s Beard’ incident – Drake’s attack on the Spanish ships in Cadiz harbour in 1587, when many were set alight.
Drake was said to possess a ‘Magic Mirror’ which enabled him to see over the horizon…….very useful for the captain of a ship or the vice-admiral of a fleet up against a Spanish armada of 130 ships. How could a ‘magic mirror’ possibly allow somebody to see over a curved horizon? A magic mirror was, of course, a telescope……..and, clearly, there were very few in existence in 1588.
