As soon as I saw there was a tribute concert called The Dubliners Encore to the fantastic Irish group, The Dubliners, it was a no brainer to get a ticket as I think they are one of the greatest bands of the last century, not least for their don’t give a fuck attitude but also their incredible soul.
Luke Kelly singing Raglan Road and Scorn Not His Simplicity are my particular favourites, so it was great to hear them being sung live. Although Raglan Road was interrupted with cheering when Scotland scored against Denmark to qualify for the world cup. They played Flower of Scotland as their last song to help the crowd savour the achievement.
