We were privileged to have some fantastic singers this week, including Esra, who is a professional Opera singer. I did make a video of her singing but she didn’t want it on youtube as she thought it wouldn’t look good on her resume. I would have liked it on mine instead.
Anıl has become a regular at the quiz nights and is always up for a laugh and a silly pose.
He can sing pretty well too!
Here I am with the lovely Esra, who got married a few months later and sung with her band in King Bar on her Wedding Night.
She graced us a song that night.
Ebru is also a professional singer and gave us a beautiful rendition of Kris Kristofferson’s ‘Help Me Make It Through the Night’.
I then sung Suspicious Minds which I am sure many of you think probably should have stayed on my hard drive.
Esra did say to me afterwards it was the finest performance she has ever seen ..anywhere! High praise indeed, she even captured some of it on her phone.
The bar got really busy later on that night and here is a short clip of some of those scenes.
