We have just had a general election
We elected Tony Blair
Out of all the people in our great country
He was deemed most fair
It must have been his stance on the Euro or the pound
That convinced us to elect that patronising clown
Whatever it was it seemed to do the magic trick
But the only result I got from it all was feeling very sick
William Hague fought a brave campaign
He begged for any spare votes
He said if I lose, you will lose the pound
You’ll be forced to use Euro notes
Now if it was just a case of using different money
I really wouldn’t care if we used jam or honey
It’s just I’ve got this feeling of something in the air
It tells me to be on my guard for something sinister
It couldn’t be that they worked together
Old Willie Hague and Tony Blair
I thought we lived in a democracy
Where all was right and fair
Surely the media would have told us
If there was something going on
I mean, all they did was tell us
Just who the smartest money was on
So goodbye old William Hague
You are not a leader of men
But I’m sure you done a good job
For the boys at number ten
Now it’s four more years hard Labour
Some tough choices will have to be made
I just wonder if our Prime Minister
Is already getting Euro paid?
Cheers!
