A few days ago I was down on alcohol
I guess I just wasn’t in the mood
Since then I’ve discovered many things
Like for instance we used to use it as food
Of all the varieties of alcohol that exist
None of them compare to home brewed
It has so many naturally healthy components
You are best drinking it when it’s crude
In our endless quest for fermenting perfection
We have missed the essential by-product point
Yes, human beings like to get royally drunk
But we have removed the herb from our joint
On other words the excess fermented yeast
Used to serve as vital energy and protein sources
Not only that it is a very effective antibiotic
But we’ve lamed one of nature’s gift horses
There are other forms of natural alcohol
That we are neglecting to drink altogether
Even bees like to drink mead, fermented honey
Scotsmen used to get pissed on heather
Trees get drunk on the apples they drop
As their roots take in the fermenting cider
Elephants sometimes knock over palm trees
As the sap of them is a psychoactive provider
It goes to show that when left alone
Every animal or plant likes to alter their mind
Why do we keep enforcing drug laws?
Are the authorities scared what we might find?
Surely, we have a right to take any substance?
That should be a given at birth
All these supposed do gooders
Are saying they know better than earth
When the Christian missionaries went to Africa
They told the locals to stop drinking
Then the disease rates increased dramatically
And so they gave them medicine without thinking
It is obviously because they didn’t know better
In trying to do good they were doing harm
Perhaps our doctors today should think twice
Before shoving a needle into our arm
They had better make sure they know
One hundred percent what they are doing
For even the people in the vaccination labs
Don’t know exactly what they are brewing
Or maybe they do and that is the point
Isn’t that why AIDS was invented?
Genocide is the name of the game
When the people in charge are demented
It is time to go back to nature for everything
Do you think that she left us wanting?
Big pharma cannot patent the plants
So every day it’s lies it keeps spawning
Why do we drink water with fluoride?
That is a poison for badness sake
It does your teeth no good whatsoever
But death may indeed cure toothache
GM foods are weakening immune systems
Not to mention they taste like plastic
I don’t know about you but I am getting sick
Of political correctness treating me like a spastic
So I think I will learn to brew some beer
Get pissed with the bees on mead
So that when the depression really kicks in
My spirits will lift every time I feed
Spread the word to everyone you know
Imagine if the whole neighbourhood did this
That will get the community functioning again
If we are all constantly on the piss
Then we won’t care that we are out of work
We can make new friends and rejoice
We will remember the true value of life
But first we must remember we have a choice
