Antalya Living – Hot Air Balloon Over Cappadocia | April 2024, Day 5

Well I couldn’t go to Cappadocia and not take Emma on the ride of her life…..on a hot air balloon. It was a bit expensive but as it was the start of the season it was still a lot cheaper than peak season so I comforted myself in the fact I was saving money….somehow.

It was a great experience apart from the fact the pilot wouldn’t shut up about making a video and getting people to pose for the camera, basically so he could make more money at the end by selling the video. I couldn’t afford an extra 50 quid for that and so I asked a German guy on our tour to send it to me…..which he didn’t. Darn. So there are only a few screenshots from the demo video.

We then went to a place which makes pottery where I was the only one to have a go. He didn’t give me much time to perfect my skills but I got a few laughs so that made me happy. Emma was in a great deal of distress with swollen ankles but I didn’t let that stop me dragging her everywhere at top speed. She done well to keep up. Check out the amazing scenes below.
