The Spirit of Billy Connolly Award Entry
To my surprise I got accepted to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival this year and so I thought I’d try again with an entry to the Spirit of Billy Connolly Award.
Emmylou Harris – Glasgow
I knew Emma would enjoy seeing Emmylou Harris but she was a little shocked to get a ticket as a Christmas present. I would have took her anyway so it killed two birds with one stone. The support was Jim Lauderdale.
Hothouse Flowers – Glasgow Barrowland
I got the single, ‘Don’t Go’ by Hothouse Flowers when it came out and I can remember one afternoon I played it sixteen times in a row. I got their first album too and loved it.
