I pray to increase my creativity
To make my intellect strong
To bring delight and wisdom
Through the power of words and song
I pray to break down the walls
That keep money at bay
I want to be rewarded
For having the guts to say
I pray for specific instructions on where to live
For the inner knowing of what to do
For guidance on how to survive by using my talents
So I don’t end up in a pot of stew
I pray for forgiveness for the wrongs I’ve done
For the strength of doing what’s right
For mercy in the hands of enemies
They realise we are all shades of light
