So after getting home around 4.30am after our Wedding Day we were up and ready to go to the beach with Alper and Alison around 2pm. They did go ahead of us with the stuff they had prepared and Aynur and I went to BIM to get some Chicken for the Barby before making our way there.
Alison had prepared some Şakşuka which we enjoyed not only eating but repeating the word several times as it is strangely addictive. Try it…’Can you pass me the Şakşuka?’ etc
It didn’t take me long to realise the full implications of what I had done the day before and so I started smoking and put away the beers like there was no tomorrow. Aynur was quite happy to have her evil plan come to fruition.
Alper and Alison have been happily married for 6 years and you can see how they are doing.
Alper’s mother and nephew Oğulcan were also there. He is a bit shy around strangers but if you play football with him he is your friend for life. He was really funny watching him pouring cold water over himself time and time again.
On this occassion I didn’t play footie with him but I let him pour freezing cold water over me and that seemed to get me on his good side.
We then went for a swim where the fish took a liking to my legs again and so Aynur ended up holding me like a baby in the water, much to Alper’s amusement. As you can see, she also made my hair into an elegant bob.
It was a great way to unwind after the wedding and after we got home we had one more beer before we all hit the hay sometime before 10 o’clock. Obviously all the excitement over the past few days had caught up with us.
Now, we have plenty of time to settle in to the rut. 😉
