I have been a fan of Bill Callahan since his days of Smog before he went solo. Emma wasn’t feeling too well prior to the gig and the hot weather outside meant that the venue, Oran Mor, which didn’t seem to have any ventilation was exteremely hot.
Support came from Jerry DeCicca who I asked for his setlist at the end of his set and then I had a chat with him when I went to check out the merch and ended up buying one of his CD’s. I would have bought the new album but the record company decided to only release vinyl and mp3 versions.
Here is Bill’s set, filmed mostly by Emma. I got the last couple of songs as she had to do a runner to get some cold air. I hoped whe would be ok but with the chance of getting Bill’s setlist, I wasn’t about to leave the front of the stage in a hurry.

Thankfully I did manage to get the setlist by jumping up onstage to get it before anyone else even thought about that option. Oh, and Emma was ok too so that was a bonus.
