Eddi Reader was playing just across the river Forth in Dunfermline and even though I couldn’t really afford it, I couldn’t stop myself from buying a last minute ticket for two and took the good lady with me so she could experience Eddi live.
Amazingly she didn’t know that she was the singer of ‘Perfect’, so at least she knew that one, as well as the classic Burns song, ‘Ay Fond Kiss’ which was ruined by the woman behind us trying to sing along and failing, badly. I was going to tell her to bring a microphone the next time as folk in the stalls couldn’t hear her but managed to hold my tongue.
Jill Jackson was the support act and she was rather good but I didn’t have my glasses on so failed to see that I was filming the back of some guys head when my camera was on my lap, so here is the audio from a couple of her songs.
The same again with Eddi, regarding the footage. Sorry about that but if you are an Eddi fan I am sure you will enjoy the audio.
