I last saw The Happy Mondays at the SECC around 1989 on their Pills, Thrills and Bellyache tour. They had two great support bands, tonight at The Barrowlands, the first one being The Stereo MC’s.
The second support band were The Inspiral Carpets.
After two great support acts The Happy Mondays took it to the next level by playing a set with songs mostly taken from their first three albums.
