I became aware of John Harris online and followed his The People’s United Community site TPUC to keep up to date with his talks so when he announced he was going to speak at Edinburgh during my time there for the Festival I made sure I was in the front row with my video camera.

I was planning on asking him for an interview afterwards but my camera battery ran out. When I mentioned that to him afterwards he said he would have refused anyway cause it was not about him and he seemed a very humble man.
I was very saddened to read about his death.
