Mercury Rev – La Belle Angelle

I saw Mercury Rev at The Barrowlands in 2001 which was totally epic and so when I saw they were touring I had to get tickets early just in case it would sell out. I also have the first album by the The High Llamas and the support act was to be Sean O’Hagan from that band.

A pet hate of mine is talking at gigs and I feel for a lot of support acts as the crowd usually shows them no respect whatsover and just blabs away all the way through their set. I felt for Sean during the gig and then he said he was pissed off at them which made me happy. Why don’t people shut the fuck up and let others enjoy the show they have paid for. Ignorant cunts.
