North Star Open Mic

I saw that North Star in Falkirk had an open mic night so I decided to go along to give it a go although I knew it was going to be mainly for guitar players to do their thing.

I spotted some interesting artwork before going onstage as Nob. He was also suitably impressed.

The organiser and first guitar player of the evening was Adam, who after Nob finished his set came and said Hi and that they don’t get many comedians there and it usually proves quite difficult for ones who do try but that Nob had done well and was welcome back anytime.

Then John and Callum from LCD Promotions approached me and said they would like to work with me. I said we can arrange a meeting to talk about it but after a few weeks I still not heard back from them about it.

Still, at least it was some positive feedback.

I will be back to the North Star Open Mic, maybe I will take my guitar along the next time just in case the Poetry doesn’t go down too well on that occasion.
