Rising every morning to my wake up call
I used to face the day with dread
Now every morning as I take my shower
I clean my face and my head

Out into the ocean of the big bad world
I used to drown in the thoughts that are said
Now I just float through this river of life
Observing the ripples of lead

I’ve cast off the shackles of limitation
I’ve thrown away my misery cloak
Now I breeze past the chuckles of inhibition
I’ve wrung out all the badness I soaked

Seizing this lifestyle has its complications
You have to listen for feedback amplifications
Taking care to iron out any stomach knots
I confess its not easy to give yourself up

Rising every morning with my wake up call
I’m used to the challenge ahead
Now every morning as I sing in the shower
I leave the blues in my nightmare bed

I’ve dismissed any notions of limited action
I’ve realised the power I can generate
Now I am on a mission to swim upstream
It is the only way to make yourself great

Cheers!
