We indulge our whims without consequence
We think that our modern freedoms are great
Libertarianism is degrading our species
More importantly though it is sealing our fate
We watch horror movies and revel in glee
At school age at bodies being decapitated
The effect on society is not hard to see
The sad thing is that it is premeditated
We divide ourselves over meaningless sport
Hating each other based on misplaced allegiance
The real game is played by wealthy owners
Manoeuvring us to donate to their joint alliance
We boast about our sexual conquests
Not realising that the bar has been lowered
Free love stole the beauty of courtship
Young girls cannot now wait to be deflowered
We tolerate practitioners of any religion
Allowing them free reign to influence truth
Spreading evil through new age doctrine
Baptising us in Lucifer’s fountain of youth
We vote for politicians of questionable honour
Literally volunteering to be their slaves
We work every day in a detestable rat race
Is it any wonder we go to early graves?
We eat pre-packaged slaughtered animals
Absorb their adrenaline-fueled terror
Yet we have a frugivore’s intestinal tract
Somebody somewhere made a dreadful error
We watch rock bands use demonic symbolism
Thinking we are cool making the horned sign
While banging our brain cells to oblivion
At a concert stage designed as Satan’s shrine
We hypnotise ourselves in high definition
Tuning into lower intelligence frequencies
Nobody has the patience to pick up a book
We are programmed with the same tendencies
We ask for guidance from psychic astrologers
Not questioning where they get their information
We know it isn’t God as he is a non-believer
So just assume you’ve been led into temptation
We think that a judgement day isn’t coming
The world is our plaything and we are God
If God exists would he let arrogance into heaven?
