Emma is a big fan of Puddles Pity Party and after watching a few of his cover versions I thought he was pretty cool too. We missed tickets for his previous tour as it sold out pretty quickly but Emma was on it this time to make sure we didn’t miss out.
I interview Jason Liosatos who is an author and activist whose work spans visual arts, literature and socio-political commentary.
Of course The Pogues can never be the real Pogues without Shane MacGowan, even though they did have Joe Strummer in the band for a while but when they announced this tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rum, Sodomy and The Lash, I had to get a ticket.

I met Matt in Edinburgh at an Anti-Geoengineering gathering where he was invited to speak by a group which does regular protests on the topic.
I met Barb when I videoed her at the Edinburgh Festival in 2012 and told her in the foyer afterwards where I arranged to send the vids to her. We have stayed in touch over the years and although I asked her about 8 years ago to be interviewed, we finally managed to arrange one. I hope you enjoy it.
