Of course The Pogues can never be the real Pogues without Shane MacGowan, even though they did have Joe Strummer in the band for a while but when they announced this tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rum, Sodomy and The Lash I had to get a ticket, doubly so when I heard it was at their spiritual home, The Barrowland.
A couple of guys from Lankum joined them for a few songs.
