We had to rush from Aviemore to attend a business meeting in Aberdeen at 12.30pm, which we made with 10 minutes to spare. We were planning on looking for a place to stay in Cullen as it was recommended to us by a drunken couple the night before but a facebook follower called Pam invited us to stay in her guest garden house and we were very happy to go there and dry some stuff out as everything seemed to be very wet by this stage.
On the way to her place in Elgin we visited a few villages on the coastline, the first one being the lovely Portsoy.
