I have spent so many hours deciphering news
Why are they telling me what I can’t affect?
I have come to the conclusion they do it for good
Eventually we will realise we have to locally connect
The more we get pulled outside of ourselves
The stronger the pull back to our heart
The internet is a web of eternal distractions
Do you think getting tangled is daft or smart?
A long time ago we had the gift of nature
Our technological advances retreat evolution
We use firewalls to build our separateness
Tearing them down is the courageous solution
Being vulnerable opens the world up to magic
You must take a chance to explore your potential
You can read about philosophy all of your life
But to be truly happy living it is essential
If you follow the corporate traps, you will get eaten
They are doing ‘s wi’s work by destroying the planet
To make us awake we need prodded like cattle
That is the only way we can become like granite
The small voice in you tells you every day of your life
But you choose to ignore it because you have bills
At the pearly gates that will be a laughable excuse
As you try to explain your lack of big thrills
The whole point of living is to escape this hell
Do you think god would want a heaven of wimps?
You can choose to be born again if you like
But I don’t fancy another round with the chumps
So tomorrow I will step out into the big unknown
I will lay my cards on the table for everyone to see
Then I will listen to feedback from my own intuition
Take another bold step towards the real version of me
