Richard Vobes is a British filmmaker, presenter, author and YouTuber born in Hampshire in 1963. He trained in mime and circus skills including fire eating, stilt-walking and juggling before writing and starring in the ITV children’s slapstick comedy series Snug and Cozi, playing one of two eccentric spacemen. He has appeared in The Bill, Poirot, London’s Burning, Lovejoy and Waiting for God. He produced heritage documentaries under the name The Bald Explorer for the Community Channel and authored children’s books including the Splidge series. His Richard Vobes Radio Show podcast has been running since 2005, broadcast from a beach hut in Worthing, with over 2,000 episodes produced. He brings a warmth and curiosity to every conversation.
I had the great pleasure to interview Richard Vobes who has recently been interviewing many people on youtube in the alternative researcher field but before that had led a very interesting life as a performer, writer and television actor and producer.
