During the early phase of my flat, we also used to watch Bullseye religiously.

People thought we were joking when we told them about our devotion to Jim Bowen and Tony Green.

Then they would turn up at my flat and we’d all be huddled round the telly, telling any visitors to shut up.

‘Sunday’s not the same without a little bit of Bully’.

Jim’s patter was great. ‘Stay out of the black and in the red, you get nothing in this game for two in a bed’.

‘Come and have a look at what you would have won’.

Classic stuff.

In hindsight, we probably should have listened to what the visitor’s were saying, mainly, “You guys really need to lay off the drugs”.

I personally think it was the Electric White Cider, that fried my brain the most.

That stuff was loopy juice.

The various flavours of Mad Dog 20/20 probably didn’t help either.
