On getting there I was happy to see Bob Walsh who had given me gigs at his Wrong Comedy night during last years festival. I also knew Charlie Wallace who’s gig in Perth that got cancelled that night, I was supposed to be performing on.
It turned out to be a typical night of madness at the Gong Show and I think I contributed somewhat to that. Check out Bob and the joint winners as well as my attempt below.
Probably just as well the third card going up as I was about to launch into a tirade of abuse which was a blessing for the crowd. I would have enjoyed it.
I think I will need to seriously consider whether traveling 350 miles to perform for potentially 40 seconds is worth it. If I think it is, I better get a plan together better than tonight’s.
